Vacuum Truck Loose Leaf Pick-Up

Please have your leaves out to the road the 1st day of your Ward's schedule.

The Highway Department will not be picking up any brush.

Weather Permitting

Upon completion of the entire town, we will begin a second pass of Wards 1 and 5 on or about the 1st week of December.

Bagged Leaves

Throughout our leaf schedule, a separate truck will be circulating the town picking up bagged leaves. Please place your paper leaf bags roadside as you fill them, and a truck will be through to collect them periodically.

Beginning October 9th, the Town Highway Department will be giving our paper leaf bags to Town of Poughkeepsie residents ONLY: Mon-Thurs 8am-3pm at the Highway Office, located at 8 Burnett Blvd. Only leaves in biodegradable paper bags will be picked up. Absolutely no plastic bags will be accepted.
